Secret Duo

The SECRET DUO device combines the technological benefits of Microneedle RF technology and 1540nm fractional Erbium glass laser.
The Microneedle RF technology delivers precisely controlled RF energy to varied depths (0.5mm–3.5mm) with the help of state-of-the-art medical-grade needles. This increases the treatment efficacy in scar treatments and photoaging. The 1540nm fractional erbium glass laser delivers laser beams to multiple columns in the dermis to induce heat and dermal collagen remodelling with no ablative effect on the epidermis.
The benefits of the combination technology allows deeper penetration with less heat dissipation and less thermal damage in the surrounding tissue—leading to quicker healing process without unnecessary damage to the epidermal layer. It also ensures minimal discomfort and uniform thermolysis, increasing deeper coagulation of collagen and reducing the chances of uneven coagulation.

SECRET DUO is a relatively pain-free process with minimal downtime and is applicable for all skin types. The first step of this procedure is the application of an anaesthetic numbing cream/ointment which takes about 40-60 minutes to become fully effective. Post skin numbing, your dermatologist will use the SECRET DUO device over the selected skin area.

Since the Secret RF system will use fractional tissue heating instead of the traditional bulk heating process, your skin is safely protected from the heat.  Furthermore, the finest medical grade needles ensure minimal discomfort. The procedure takes approximately 40 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area treated.

You may experience some degree of redness or minor swelling immediately after the treatment. The redness will subside rapidly in the first hour of the treatment and any other redness or swelling will be completely resolved in the next 24-36 hours. Any side effects experienced are temporary and should resolve within a few days. 6-8  sessions of the treatment is recommended for best results, with most people seeing significant improvements after just one session.

• Discontinue the use of Retin A and other exfoliating topical medications for 3-5 days
• Avoid any hair removal treatments or skin resurfacing procedures for 5-7 days
• Avoid prolonged sun exposure
• Reschedule in case a rash or blemish develops

• Avoid wearing makeup post-treatment for 48 hours
• Use OTC medications and cold compresses  to ease any discomfort
